CH. QUASAR'S DATELINE NA, NAJ, CGC August 13, 1998 Sire: CH. Abbey Lane’s Steamboat Willie Dam: Quasar’s Desert Mirage Katie and I set a goal – to compete at the first American Spaniel Club agility trial in San Antonio. Katie was not particularly athletic. She is my little princess. She wasn’t super fast. But she was amazingly exact and accurate in agility. Her first run in competition she had a perfect score and first place. There were more like that and she finished her novice titles in two weekends. Katie placed second in Novice in San Antonio. She also went into the breed ring and as a four-year old special, was the oldest bitch in the ring. She did not win anything from ASC that day, but she won my heart for getting out there and trying it one more time. Whenever there is a first dog in anything, they are the ones that teach you so much that you need to know. Katie set a standard for her ability to learn agility work that none of my other dogs have been able to match. I didn’t realize how special she was until I started to train others. Katie left us in September 2008 and I miss her every day. Katie is the dam of Ch. Abbey Lane’s Anything Goes and Ch. Abbey Lane’s It Has To Be You.

Cassie COVENTRY'S MINT JULIP OAJ,NA,NJP,RN,CGC August 2, 2003 Sire: BISS CH. Abbey Lane’s Ruffing It Dam: CH. Sunrise Lil’ Mis High Society Cassie was a pistol! What more can I say? She was smart, fast, and determined to run the agility courses her way! She was also a Mickey daughter and very pretty! Cassie started training when she was 5 months old. She was the first agility dog I have had that did not leave here to get a conformation title. She slept on my bed since a baby and that is where she passed on March 10, 2013 after an 11 month fight with bone cancer.
